Empowered to be Kids by Playing and Learning in Our Urban Naturescape!
Unstructured free play is an essential part of a child's healthy development. Imagine a playground with lots of trees, meadows, hiking paths, big boulders to climb and tree logs to balance. Imagine a playground where children not only play but gather with their teachers to read, write, draw and explore the mathematics and science of nature. This is the vision of whole-person play. The children of Paideia spend time in our urban nature-scape climbing, running, balancing, socializing and learning.
